Everything goes through Chicago O'Hare

The Chicago Connection cast and crew is preparing to film Scenes 10 through 12 on location near the Chicago O'Hare airport. Much of the movie's action takes place on, near or through O'hare as some of the main characters travel to or from other countries.

O'hare, better known as KORD in pilot circles, is one of the nexuses of the world. Everything goes through Chicago O'hare. As the saying goes "if it does not fly through O'hare, it does not exist". It is one of the busiest airports in the world and it is known as the airport with the most connections to other cities of our planet. The diagram above shows KORD as it was in the 90s, runways 32R and 32L have disappeared but many more East-West runways are now in operation. And it's in this crowded maze of terminals, alleys and underground tunnels that our two protagonist Chicago detectives hunt down a mysterious femme fatale masterminding an international criminal conspiracy.

In the 90s, Chicago was home to many organized crime groups. The Asian business community had been enduring years of extortion and other forms of crime. The gangs operating in Chicago's Chinatown and Little Saigon were specially secretive. Cultural barriers and a stern code of silence made it almost impossible for law enforcement to investigate and convict.

The Chicago Connection is an impression of the cat and mouse game that took place in the 90s between the police and a mysterious Vietnamese organization led by a cunning woman with no name. Two dedicated detectives, Ramona Sandoval and Collin Mola put their careers and lives to piece together a thrilling criminal puzzle.
